We successfully concluded the CSAEM Project evaluation mission in Costa Rica!

The evaluation mission is a key step in any Social Evaluation process for projects and programs, as it allows for the collection of firsthand information to analyze the relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability, and impacts of implementation.

On this occasion, we conducted interviews with key stakeholders and relevant informants, held focus groups with the migrant population benefiting from the project—who had accessed regularization and health insurance processes—and visited strategic locations on the SanJosé and Upala borders, along the Nicaragua border, to learn about their experiences firsthand. We also participated in the project's closing event, where its main achievements were highlighted and future challenges in public policy for migrant care were discussed. This visit was highly productive. All planned activities were completed, and valuable information was obtained.

Likewise, the closing workshop of the evaluation mission, with the participation of all the stakeholders involved, allowed us to validate that our preliminary findings, conclusions, and recommendations accurately reflect the development and conclusion of the CSAEM Project.
